Kalashnikov develops electro vehicle for taxi, car sharing

MOSCOW, Aug 9 (PRIME) -- Kalashnikov, an affiliate of Russian state industrial corporation Rostec, has developed a UV-4 electric vehicle model to be used as taxi and in car sharing services, Rostec said in a statement on Friday.

“An electric vehicle sample was showcased at a trade fair with the newest specialized vehicle models for taxi… The car is aimed at the use at the plants whose territories mean large distance transportation, and also for car sharing companies,” the statement read.

The car power capacity is up to 50 kilowatts. The maximum speed 80 kilometers per hour, the distance per charge is 150 kilometers.
